Please, who is Kwame Baah, how best can you describe yourself?
Ans: Kwame Baah is a young graduate who follows his heart and aspires to always impact his community. A musician, entrepreneur, Online Marketer and a teacher.
How was life when growing up?
Ans: Life has been very rough for me. Where I am coming from, you have to grind for everything. I started staying alone at the age of 15, slept hungry countless times and I hardly complain so nobody saw it. I come from a good family though, but I don’t like to be spoon-fed. I always want to go get it!
When growing up, what was your greatest fear?
Ans: Hmm. I think it is actually still my greatest fear. And that is ‘What if I don’t ever blow up in music. What becomes of the people who look up to me?
Tell us one advise your parents gave you which you would never forget?
Ans: My dad use to tell me, as a human being, your nose, ears, eyes and all your senses should be extremely ready every time, everywhere. Meaning if you want to be smart, you have to smell, listen and see everything twice as others will see or feel that particular thing. In other words, you should be ahead of time.
How did friends and family contributed to your dream when growing up?
Ans: My family inspires me a lot and my friends challenge me. I move with people who have goals, so to be able to stand out, you have to always challenge yourself to do more. My family is my backbone, they support me regardless.
What are the things that keeps you going in life?
Ans: My music. Without my music, I wouldn’t be inspired to inspire.
How do you spend your time?
Ans: I read and research a lot. I’m always on my phone..lol. That is a bad habit though but it’s my best friend. The internet brought me here so I got to be faithful to it. I spend most of my time with it.
How were you able to combine your studies and music career while you were in school?
Ans: I think passion rules everything. If you love what you do, you can make time for them all. For me, your studies should never be an excuse for you to quit following your dreams.
What has been your greatest threat in your Career?
Ans: Availability of capital to invest in it.
In four lines, sell your brand to your competitors
Ans: Kwame is an artist and an artiste. I design, I sing, rap, write and I market. Within 2years, I’ve released 3 albums, I’m the first artiste from my city to initiate an Album signing event and also the first to peak high on itunes album chart and I did it without signing to any record label. I’ve created my own label and signed 5 talented artistes.
Where do you want to see yourself the next five (5) years?
Ans: I want to be where people struggled to go with their careers but couldn’t. So to make them know everything is possible. I want to create jobs and make people successful more than I will be. So my boys and I will all be at the peak TOGETHER.
How is life in the music industry?
Ans: It’s awesome even though I’m not a star yet. It has opened doors for me and taught me a lot of lessons.
What advice do you have for the youth?
Ans: Whatever you put your mind up to do, don’t look at anybody, just do it! Nobody sees things from your perspective. Make sure you do it with passion and Yes, do it better so they can’t get you.
When given the opportunity as a President for a day, what is it that you desire to change in this country?
Ans: There will be nothing like free content online. I strongly believe people should be making enough money from their intellectual properties. The rate at which musicians, actors, film makers, and other content makers are being cheated will change.
Do you think Free Senior High Education can be sustainable? If yes, what makes you think so? If no, Why?
Ans: Honestly, Yes. We have a lot of resources to sustain it and if we make good use of them and get good accountants for our money, we will be amazed how the country will grow.
Give shout out to anyone who has supported your career to this far?
