Please tell us about yourself. Who is Mr. Felix Adomako Mensah?
Ans: Adomako Felix popularly known as Zionfelix is a multiple award-winning celebrity and lifestyle blogger, radio and TV personality, social media influencer and a publicist for several Ghanaian entertainers and brands. I hold a degree in Political Science and Information Studies from the University of Ghana.
The only male amidst four sisters. I had my early childhood education at several private schools but it will be prudent to move straight to state that I was a business student when I started my senior high school education at Konongo Odumasi SHS because I might mention the names of some of the primary schools I went and leave some out since they were many. I continued to the University of Ghana in 2012 to continue my tertiary education after completing KOSS in 2011.
How did life treat you when growing up?
Ans: Life was not that hard as a young boy but one thing I will never forget is that my parents never finished paying my school fees even in a term during my primary and Junior High School levels all because, their financial base was not that strong. Even though, they did not have that much, they managed to put smiles on my face always so I didn’t have tough times when growing up as a young guy in Kumasi.
How do you push through your tough times?
Ans: I always want to be happy so I share jokes most times making me forget about tough moments.
Tell us one thing you will never forget in your entire life which taught you much lessons?
Ans: I think I have already said this and I would repeat, my parents never finished paying my school fees during my primary and junior high school levels so I’ve vowed never to let that happen to my kids. I know how it feels when you are in school and the authorities sack you home for school fees and that is one thing I will never let it happen to my kids. I have already started implementing that Idea because, I make sure my younger sister’s school fees is paid without her having problems with her education.
What are your fears in life?
Ans: Do I even know? I just take life world cup so I take everything cool. Ok I’ve remembered, if I miss heaven. It is one thing that scares me a lot.
What inspires you a lot in life?
Ans: To get a better future for my kids and make my close family happy always.
We all spend 24 hours a day, how do you spend your time which has made you successful?
Ans: I think I’ve to ask bra “Passion” this question oo.. I work with passion so it always drives me to work on things I love and spend all my time on it. I don’t actually have a schedule for my life. By God’s grace I’m my own boss so anytime I’ve a job to do, I make sure it is done very well and that is how things have been for me to be this successful.
How were you able to combine your studies and blogging at the tertiary level?
Ans: I love this job so I made sure I spent time well for it and when it got to my books or exams, I had enough time for that as well. Taking both serious as and when needed is what helped me at Legon
What has been your challenging moment in your Career?
Ans: Let me say anytime I want to start a new project. The finances to start becomes difficult but I’m always able to sail through it to achieve the aim at the end of the day.
Where do you want to see yourself in the next five (5) years?
Ans: I want to open a multimedia house and employ several Ghanaians
What advice do you have for the youth?
Ans: They should just follow their passion but not money because the passion will let them work very hard and execute their duties very well and that will yield more cash for them. If they focus on cash, they will be in a rush to put out any poor material as work with the aim of earning money but that poor product will bring nothing and that will be a waste of time.
When given the opportunity as a President for a day, what is it that you desire to change in this country?
Ans: hmmmm…that’s a tough question. Create more employment in the country, work on how to reduce fuel prices, education will be looked at and also implement policies to help the creative arts industry because it is an economy booster but the government fails to see it
Do you think Accra can be the cleanest City in Ghana? If yes, what makes you think so? If no, Why?
Ans: That will be very difficult looking at how everybody is trooping to the nation’s capital in search of money. I personally think it is impossible because, they have tried several times and it did not work. Even that cannot happen in Kumasi….lol
Give shout out to anyone who has supported your career to this far?
Ans: If I say I’m mentioning names I will be arrested so let me thank all who have helped my career from day one till date and all those who have been reading from my website www.zionfelix.net and all those who have been watching my show celebrity ride with zionfelix.
Congratulations!!! We are proud of you! Keep soaring higher. Thank you for spending time with us.
